The Renaissance is defined as a "fervent

period of European cultural, artistic, political and economic 'rebirth." When looking at the art of that time, most of the images you will find are focused around straight sized, white men and women. However, we have now found ourselves at our own sort of renaissance in our modern culture. What Once Is is a celebration of the modern woman - in whatever form that may take; It is an exploration of both the past and the present, and an inspiration for the future.

Nature's Neon focuses on the commodification of natural sources. By reducing nature as a mere aesthetic, it forces us to question the relationship between ourselves and our environment.
